The wait is finally over! Tomorrow photos of Jennifer Lopez’ twins will hit the newsstand, in the new issue of People magazine. All 12-pages of em.’

And to think, while they paid millions for the photos, we’ll only have to shell out a couple bucks. At least that’s what we hear, something like six million dollars. Heck, even the grilled cheese sandwich with the Virgin Mary imprinted on it only fetched $28,000…

But it sounds like People didn’t mind paying big bucks for Jennifer Lopez’ baby pics. Larry Hackett, managing editor for the magazine, stated, “We are thrilled that the world will see these images for the first time in People magazine.” Ok, are we talking about the discovery of an extraterrestrial life form or someone’s kids here? Just sayin…

At any rate, it seems like the selling of baby pics to glossy mags is becoming big business. Jamie Lynn Spears’ mom apparently inked a one million dollar deal for her granddaughter’s pics and the kid hasn’t even popped yet.

But not everyone’s tots move the same amount of magazines. Nicole Richie’s baby Harlow may not have uttered her first words yet, but she sold way more magazines than Christina Aguilera’s kid Max. And People Magazine is reported to have paid Richie $1 million her pics while Aguilera got $1.5 million.

The consensus there is that people are just more interested in Nicole Richie, with her eating disorders, heroin use and rockstar boyfriend. Christina Aguilera, on the other hand, is married to a music exec and doesn’t have any substance abuse problems or disorders (that we know of). Boring.

Now the question of the moment is whether or not Halle Berry will share her baby pics for a price. And then there’s Tori Spelling’s daughter, who is due in June…something tells us we’ll definitely be seeing those photos.
